Nestled in the beach grass at the end of a quiet lane, Linger Longer By The Sea has been a haven for families, retirees, and visitors from all over the globe for over 50 years. Come bask in the soothing breezes and white sand on our private beach, while the kids run rampant on the tidal flats or splash in the gentle waves. Take a long, romantic stroll on the beach at sunset, or go for a bike ride on over 30 miles of bicycle-only trails, just a 5 minute ride from your door. Come once and you'll be hooked, just like our many, many returning guests, who come back year after year, in some cases for as many as 50 years!

The main house, originally built in 1907 and renovated in 1976, now consists of six attractive apartments. The apartments all have breathtaking panoramic views of the vast, beautiful, tidal Cape Cod Bay that is so perfect for safe swimming with its miles of empty sand beaches which stretch all the way to Provincetown. Linger Longer's private beach is made to order for children as well as windsurfing, centerboard sailing, fishing, air mattress floating and sand castle building, or if you happen to be seeking it--solitude. Linger Longer's beachfront complex also has seven classic grey shingled one and two story Cape cottages. The completely renovated two story cottages contain two or three bedrooms, two bathrooms, dishwasher and washer/dryers. To give you the best of both worlds, beach and woodland, a 4/10 mile walk from the beachfront complex takes you to a pine grove where Linger Longer has three other classic Cape cottages. Cottage H has a fireplace, living room, dining room-sun porch, four bedrooms, kitchen and two bathrooms. Our units range from studio to four bedrooms. All units have fully equipped kitchens including coffee makers and microwave ovens, bathrooms, cable TV, phones, charcoal grills and outdoor furniture. Most have decks with views. There is a laundry room for personal needs. Linens and towels are supplied.
